Use Ollama Local AI for WordPress Content Rewriting

Setup sketch
- Install Ollama on the same machine or a private host
- Pull a model sized for your RAM (start smaller than you think)
- In WriteWP Settings, choose Ollama and set the host URL
- Test the connection, then rewrite one draft
Hybrid that does not break
Set Ollama as primary and a cloud provider as fallback. When local is down or overloaded, the queue can still finish. Watch Usage so you know when fallback is doing the heavy lifting.
Quality vs cost
Local models vary. For long SEO posts, cloud models may still win on structure. Use local for bulk or private niches; use cloud when ranking quality is the bottleneck.
